This is my 10th year on the LI Committee for the Annual American Heart Association Go Red for Women luncheon, which is taking place February 16, 2022 at the Crest Hollow Country Club on Long Island.
The luncheon hosts more than 800 people and focuses on the importance of women’s health with keynote speakers that have survived this disease.
Due to Covid, the 2021 event was virtual.
We are happy to be able to be back in person at this wonderful event for 2022!!
Go Red For Women is a national organization promoted by the American Heart Association.
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women in the U.S. of ALL AGES, and Go Red is able to bring awareness of heart disease to millions of women every year.
In 2008, my grandmother passed away of congestive heart failure, 2 months after heart surgery, with no prior complications.
I joined the Go Red Committee 10 years ago in honor of my grandma and to bring awareness of heart disease to women.
I continue to support this great cause and my husband and my boys are my WHY.
Please join me in bringing awareness of this disease – your support is greatly appreciated.
