32nd Annual Long Island Golf & Tennis Classic

Due to the expected hurricane, The American Heart Association’s
Long Island Golf Classic,
taking place on Monday, August 23rd
at the Glen Oaks Club, has been cancelled.
This was a difficult decision, but the top priority for the American Heart Association
is the safety and well-being of our supporters.

Important COVID-19 Vaccine Information:
Glen Oaks Club requires that all guests:
• Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination upon arrival.
• All vaccinated guests will receive a wrist band at registration.
• All unvaccinated guests will be required to wear a mask for the duration of the outing.
Please note: Fully vaccinated attendees should, by the date of the event, be at least two weeks beyond receiving your final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Please do not attend an AHA event if you are not feeling well or have symptoms, irrespective of your vaccine status. If you have a condition that weakens your immune system or take certain medications, you may need to take extra precautions even if you are fully vaccinated, as instructed by your doctor. The AHA encourages you and everyone you love, care for, or care about to be vaccinated.
The 32nd Annual Golf and Tennis Classic ~ A Joel Hamroff Memorial Tribute, is held to support this mission and to recognize and honor outstanding accomplishments of individuals in leadership positions on Long Island. Regular physical activity increases your fitness level and capacity for exercise. It also plays a role in both primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The Golf and Tennis Classic is in its 32nd year of playing an important role of helping to raise funds on Long Island while encouraging physical activity of its participants.
This event offers great networking potential along with an important educational message. Revenue is generated through sponsorship, corporate foursomes, individual players, and a unique assortment of donated items for the auction/ raffle. Themed holes i.e.; Hole in One Contest, Hit a Greenie, etc. Regular physical activity can help control blood lipid abnormalities, diabetes and obesity. Aerobic physical activity can also help reduce blood pressure.
