As some of you know, I am on the committee for the 15th Annual American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Luncheon to be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Crest Hollow Country Club. Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association’s nationwide movement that celebrates the energy, passion and power of American women to band together and wipe out heart disease. Thanks to the participation of millions of people across the country, the color red and the red dress have become linked with the ability all women have to improve their heart health and live stronger, longer lives.
Before the American Heart Association existed, people with heart disease were considered to be doomed to complete bed rest - or worse. But a handful of pioneering physicians and social workers believed it didn't have to be that way. They conducted studies to learn more about heart disease, eventually leading to the founding of the American Heart Association in 1924. Today, I am proud to be a volunteer and advocate for the efforts of the American Heart Association.
I am asking you to join me in my efforts, by donating a gift to the American Heart Association. Our mission - to build healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Please go to my page https://ahaplainview.ejoinme.org/kvpromos
and donate any denomination (even $25 would be helpful!) to help me reach my goal. I truly appreciate your support!
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you in advance for your generosity & support!
